Welcome to AquaKlear of New Jersey

Home of the only complete system for advanced on-site treatment for septic sewage

Unlike a conventional septic system, where wastewater is processed through the septic tank while the leach field provides the bulk of the actual water treatment through the aerobic process, the AquaKlear advanced treatment unit sends water to the leach field that is 98.8% cleaner than what entered the unit. With an AquaKlear treatment system, this means leach fields primarily act as a “drain”, releasing clean water back into the environment instead of having to bear the brunt of treatment with eventual failure due to bio-fouling. It also means leach field sizes can be reduced compared to those accompanying a conventional system, minimizing land disruption and ultimately lowering installation costs. And finally, properties with small footprints or those near lakes can construct or add onto existing structures, all while meeting State requirements for proper on-site sewage disposal practices while protecting the natural environment and one of our most precious natural resources: water. Unlike much of our competitors, AquaKlear features include gravity feed from the top, eliminating the need for costly pumps and eventual pump maintenance, not to mention the electric bill.

AquaKlear also features no moving parts, pumps or media to create the aerobic digestion process, thereby creating easier long term maintenance. And of course, AquaKlear is the only “complete” system courtesy of the ingenious, yet remarkably simple design that features the patented AK skimmer, which reintroduces clarified waste back into the system, maintaining AquaKlear’s endless cycle of wastewater purification. As you can see above, the AquaKlear advanced on-site treatment unit does it all. Starting with anaerobic (non oxygen utilizing) digestion and trapping of heavy solids. From there, wastewater is delivered to the aerobic (oxygen utilizing) chamber, where a swarm of aerobic bacteria are kept in suspension thru AquaKlear’s air driven AK diffuser which creates a unique barrel roll affect, keeping the swarm of bacteria in constant contact with the wastewater for optimal digestion. Onwards the wastewater travels to the clarifying chamber, where suspended solids gently drift downwards to be recycled back into the aerobic chamber for never ending treatment due to the unique shape of the AquaKlear system shell. Any floating solids within the clarifying chamber are also recycled back to the system start point, courtesy of the patented unique AquaKlear AK skimmer, making the system a “complete” treatment unit.

And when it comes to price, the AquaKlear line of advanced treatment units are hard to beat. The 600 gallon per day AK6PT is available in both sturdy fiberglass and concrete. The 500 gallon per day AK500 is also available in both sturdy fiberglass and concrete. The AK750, AK800, AK1,000 and AK1,500 gallon per day units are available in fiberglass only.

Regardless of its size, each unit comes complete with AK skimmer, AK diffuser and the AquaKlear duel outlet compressor that is so whisper quite, it can be placed near a bedroom window and not interrupt a person’s sleep! And it’s also the only whisper quiet compressor on the market with a built in “brain” controlling both the AK diffuser and AK skimmer.
